Mike Rigby’s illustrations are executed with mad skill. They convey deep emotions through a keen sense of humor and playfulness usually reserved for the likes of Ralph Steadman. Layers of realistic feathers and fur are juxtaposed against hard-edged machines and mass-produced consumer electronics and tell a tale that blurs the line between nature and mechanics. Animal grace vs. manufactured artifact.

Mike has been a freelance illustrator for over 6 years. He started by working for t-shirt companies such as Dom Rebel, Lucky 7, and Plane Jane. He is currently working on his own t-shirt label, "Passeris", which will be available in selected stores around Montreal this spring.
